The New York Mets first
season was in 1962. In 1969,
they won their first World Series in 5 games under manager, Gil Hodges. Today, the Mets are one of the
best ball clubs in the MLB(Major League Baseball). In 2009,
their most recent season, the Mets had 70 wins and 92 losses. Their latest playoff appearance
was in 2006.
